
The Dental Board of Queensland is the body responsible for the registration of Dentists, Dental Specialists, Dental Therapists and Dental Hygienists in Queensland. Before a person in Queensland may practice as, or hold themselves out to be, a Dentist, Dental Specialist, Dental Therapist or Dental Hygienist, he or she must first register with the Board.
The Board is the statutory authority established to enact the provisions of the Dental Practitioners Registration Act 2001, Dental Practitioners Registration Regulation 2001 and the Health Practitioners (Professional Standards) Act 1999.
